Meet Ayobami Agbaje – NCS Head of Safety.

At Office

Interviewer: Hello, it’s nice to have a chat with you out of your busy schedule. First of all, thanks for agreeing to grant this interview. May we get to meet you? What are your full names and tell us about your background growing up?

Ayo: I am AYOBAMI AGBAJE, I’m from Kwara state, but based in Lagos. I came from a family of 6, the third child, from a Muslim background. I graduated from Moshood Abiola polytechnics Abeokuta. I earned several professional certificate in Safety, Telecommunication, Will and Pension to mention a few.

Interviewer: Sounds amazing. How did you find yourself in the employ of Nigeria Cleaning Service?

My Selfie

Ayo: I joined the company on June 8, 2015, as a training inspector, working in the operations department for about 6 months then I was moved to the Internal Control Director’s(ICD’s) office as a junior inspector to work directedly under him. Subsequently, I took several courses on safety and after passing the exams I was made a special senior inspector, and also later become a safety officer of the company.

Back in Campus

Interviewer: Would you mind sharing with us some of your most memorable experiences working in NCS. Tell us one exciting one and perhaps one that you would not wish for it to repeat itself lol…

Ayo: Hmmm… The exciting memorable experience I could not forget is when I was transferred to work directly with the Internal Control Director. the I am still working under him and report directly to him, almost 80% of NCS staff discourage me not to going and working with him I later ask why the only excuse I could remember was you can last working with him because you can’t satisfy him and he will end up sacking you before 6 months. Then you know what if you don’t get close to someone you wouldn’t understand the person although my boss is tough to work with but the sample in the other side if only you can follow instructions as lay down by him and always be honest in all what you do and you should also think outside the box when working with him lastly you have to always thing above him.

  • Congratulations on your achievement sir.

ICD is someone people afraid to work with, but the hidden truth is that there is no way you will with him directly and you will not fulfill in life.
I had the opportunity to work with him directly when I was working with NCS and, I can tell you that he was really a very nice man. He will teach you how to do things, give you the opportunity to do it on your own, go back to him as many time as possible to seek for more clarity, etc.
You can only run into his trouble if you claim to know something without knowing anything !
